People are busy today. The demands of the world limit our free time. This is why it's important to stop and enjoy some of life's simplest signs of our humanity through the self-expression of art.

I believe we all hold a creative spirit inside ourselves and that through practice, instruction, and insight we can create art that expresses our unique vision, and reveals that spirit inside.

It's our life force, so why ignore our innate powers and the chance to express human goodness?

I teach watercolor and acrylic painting, printing and hand painting fabric like clothes and upholstry, because I love art...

...and the artist...

...in each of us.

My classes are open to all who wish to enjoy creative self-expression through art.

I teach art to all ages in an open, non-judgmental environment, because I believe that art is for everybody.

I believe that anyone can do art and should do art...

...for their own sake...

...as their own 'physical' therapy.

That is why I enjoy encouraging the artist in all of us.

I believe, as humans, we need to express and create, as a way to communicate with each other and learn about each other...

...and the world.

When we reach our greatest potential as artists and humans, we are able to love each other through art!
