Retail Outlets:
In addition to the events listed below, my scarves and watercolors can be seen and purchased at:
I will be facilitating a silk painting class using resist techniques
with silk paints. Each participant will create their very own silk scarf
using silk paint and water based resists. We can create our own one of
a kind design or look at patterns from ancient cultures, floral designs
or contemporary textile patterns.
Mandala
We will collaborate with participants to make a group Mandala using natural
materials.
Family Fabric Quilt
Each family at camp will get a family portrait taken the day they arrive
at camp. We will use that as inspiration the next day to work on a very
special Family Cloth Project. Using photo transfer paper unto fabric we
will hand stitch and assemble colorful fabrics to make a memorable wall
hanging that will last for years.
Afternoon Creative Fun
In the afternoon we will make colorful bandanas to wear around
camp and be cool and stylish! We will have fabric paints to use for making
prints, patterns or sunprints from nature.

Uncommon Grounds Art Showing
At this showing, I exhibited a 3 year collection of watercolors I painted at the Burlington Farmers' Market.
These figures are lighthearted moments of Vermonters shopping at the farmers' markets.
These are ordinary moments that I have turned into extraordinary expressions of community.
Locate these paintings on the Street Scenes webpage, where you can see Vermonters chat, play chess and walk the dog on a summer day in the park.
Find the "Wise Old Man" figure hidden in each of my pictures.
Also showing are my landscapes and florals inspired by the change of seasons.
Using vibrant colors and rich translucent strokes, I have attempted to express the universal themes of nature and my love of the Vermont landscape.
